This Is Not a Government Office. Rusk County Criminal History is a private reference site. It cannot obtain criminal records, conduct official background checks, correct or remove a record, or receive expungement filings. Those services must come from the responsible government custodian.
Need an Official Record?
Use the office that created or maintains the Rusk County record:
- Police and incident reports: request the file from the law-enforcement agency that created it
- Arrest, booking, and jail records: contact the Rusk County Sheriff's Office for its records
- Court case files: use the criminal court case resource or contact the Rusk County Clerk of Circuit Court
- Criminal histories and official checks: order from the Wisconsin Department of Justice Crime Information Bureau through the appropriate official process
- Expungement: work with the Wisconsin court that handled the case because relief under Wis. Stat. § 973.015 is tied to the original sentencing
- Sex offender registry records: use the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Sex Offender Registry Program
